Today’s rehearsal felt a little strange. My energy was really low and I couldn\u2019t find a way out of it. I had a hard time sleeping last night because I was so excited to begin classes! For some reason that just really threw me off today. This show is so high energy and I can\u2019t really afford to feel slow or tired when we\u2019re at rehearsal. We really don\u2019t have time for that. So I think I need to make an effort to take care of myself so that I can sleep better! That was one of my objectives for my summer work, to really take good care of myself! I feel really proud of the work I did in that department, but I feel like I lost a little bit of that yesterday. I have to relax and make a conscious effort to do my best every day! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We finally made it all the way through the longest scene today, act two, scene one! I am proud of the fact that we were able to do this! In my head this scene drags so much. I cannot wait for it to be fully operating! I want to buff out all the sharp edges and make it feel smooth and easy. If I were an audience member watching this play, by the time we got to this scene, I would be starting to drift off. I am not a murder mysteries kind of person! My goal with this scene is to make sure that everyone in the audience stays connected and understands what’s going on throughout the entirety! Audience reactions are out of my control but I want to be as clear as possible so that I am not the thing in their way!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
